Leuluai: Won't face Samoa
Former Wigan half-back Thomas Leuluai looks set to miss New Zealand's Rugby League World Cup opener with Samoa.
Leuluai made 189 appearances for the Warriors after two seasons at the London Broncos before he returned to the New Zealand Warriors in 2012.
However the 28-year-old has been struggling with hamstring and groin problems ahead of the tournament and was forced to miss the 50-0 rout of the Cook Islands in Doncaster.
Leuluai has not been able to train fully ahead of Sunday's clash against Samoa in Warrington, so is not expected to be risked.
Manly's Kieran Foran, who starred in the warm-up win, Shaun Johnson and Isaac Luke are now all in contention to start.
