England international Carl Ablett has agreed a new five-year contract to remain at Leeds Rhinos.
The 26-year-old has made 150 appearances for the Stobart Super League champions, having previously played amateur rugby league for Middleton.
And Ablett is pleased to have sorted out his future ahead of Friday's clash against league leaders Wigan at Headingley.
Ablett told the club's official site: "I am really pleased to have signed this long-term contract and I think it signals the next stage of my career here at the Rhinos.
"We have had some great success in recent times but I think the club have done a great job in building for the future with a number of the guys on long contracts now."
Head coach Brian McDermott added: "I think Carl is one of the unsung stars of our game at present however he is certainly highly appreciated by everyone at the Rhinos, as this new contract shows."
