Widnes Vikings' director of rugby Paul Cullen has expressed his 'disappointment' that youngster Anthony Mullally has turned down the club's contract offers.

The 20-year-old has rejected a 'number' of moves to improve and extend his deal with coach Dennis Betts' side.
Widnes arranged for Mullally to spend a season in the junior set-up at prestigious NRL club Brisbane Broncos last year to further his development.
And Cullen is satisfied the club did everything they could to retain the youngster and will now be focusing their efforts on players who want to be part of their future.
"Anthony Mullally has rejected a number of contract offers that we've made to him to improve and extend his current deal," Cullen told the Runcorn and Widnes Weekly News.
"The phrase from his agent is that 'Anthony wishes to test himself on the open market'.
"We're satisfied we've done everything we can to create a pathway to Super League and provide an opportunity for a player to improve himself, not only at Widnes but also when we sent the player to Australia to develop himself and his game.
"We're disappointed he chooses to go on the open market, but it's simple market forces. If Anthony wishes his future to be elsewhere, we wish him well.
"We'll seek compensation and we'll concentrate our efforts on those who want to be a part of the club long-term, going forward."
