Bradford Bulls second row forward Ian Sibbit is facing three months on the sidelines after breaking his arm against St Helens.
The 31-year-old, who was playing his second game since injuring his shoulder earlier in the season, sustained the knock during their 54-0 loss at Langtree Park.
The former Salford City Reds man underwent a scan on Saturday and the club's football manager Stuart Duffy expects him to miss the next 12 weeks of the campaign.
"It's another blow for the club and for Ian who has been chomping at the bit to get back on the field," Duffy told the club's official website.
"Scans undertaken yesterday revealed a broken arm and he has had an operation (on Sunday). Ian is expected to miss the next twelve weeks of the season."
Bradford already have a lengthy injury list with the likes of Matt Diskin and Craig Kopczak now joined on the treatment table by Sibbit and Brett Kearney (hamstring).
