
Castleford Tigers stand-off Rangi Chase has been suspended on full pay while "his actions last weekend" are investigated, the club have revealed.
Super League's reigning Man of Steel was dropped for last Sunday's 40-22 Stobart Super League defeat at Leeds.
Tigers coach Ian Millward refused to shed any light on the situation during the post-match press conference the club has announced they have begun an investigation.
Richard Owen has accepted a one-match ban for punching. The Tigers full-back submitted an early-guilty plea after being charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with hitting Leeds' Carl Ablett during.
The incident occurred during his side's 40-22 defeat at the ahnds of the reigning Stobart Super League champions at Headingley on Sunday.
Nick Youngquest will retire from professional rugby at the end of the season at the relatively young age of 28. The Australian has been combining his rugby league career with modelling for the last two years, and is signed to the prestigious Nous Model Management in Los Angeles.
Youngquest, who joined the Tigers from Crusaders at the start of last season, announced his decision on Twitter.
He said: "I'm going to retire from professional rugby at the end of the season. It's been good while it lasted!
"I've had an unreal time playing rugby, met some great people and made life-long friends. So thanks to everyone for the memories!"
The former Cronulla and St George Illawarra player, who has run in 23 tries in his 31 appearances for Castleford, added: "Rugby league is a great sport and I'm so lucky to have experienced it the way I have".
