Hull FC will be without forwards Danny Tickle and Sam Moa for the rest of the Super League season due to injury.
Both players suffered bicep injuries in last Sunday's 28-24 victory over the Huddersfield Giants.
Tickle and Moa need three months on the sidelines, meaning they will not play for the Black-and-Whites again this term.
The double injury blow means coach Peter Gentle is missing 10 first-team squad members, leaving the club looking for potential reinforcements and the possible second return from retirement for Lee Radford.
"It's obviously a huge blow to lose two more of your first-team squad for such a long period of time, particularly players like Sam and Ticks who are a key part of our team," Gentle told the club's official website.
"It definitely leaves us a little short, we're not having the best run of luck with injuries at the moment but that is part of the game and we must roll our sleeves up and get on with it.
"We are keeping a close eye on the market at the moment, particularly with the current situation at other clubs and players that could become available.
"There are always deals and opportunities to be had out there, but we won't be rushing into anything or signing players for the sake of it."
