Potter rules out Broncos

Bradford Bulls coach Mick Potter has played down speculation he could become London Broncos' boss for the 2013 Super League season.

Potter is currently working for free at Odsal after being made redundant by the club's administrator with the West Yorkshire club in a dire financial situation.

The Australian, who says he can only afford to continue without pay for another week, had been linked with the Broncos job and speculation increased when he was spotted at their home game against Wigan last Saturday.

The former St Helens and Catalan Dragons boss insists his heart is in Bradford and that he cannot see himself working in the capital.

"I was there because my son is over from Australia and I have two nephews and a niece down in London so I was the taxi, taking my wife and children down there," he said.

"I think London is a great place to live but my heart is here with Bradford and I want to see Bradford through to the end but the situation is dragging on a bit.

"I wouldn't say no in far as being interested but I am not looking to do anything down in London.

"My preference would be to stay here at Bradford or go back to Australia. I don't see myself moving to London to do another job there."

Former Bradford, Wigan and Great Britain coach Brian Noble is another man being linked with the post.
