Bradford v Hull KR Match Preview

Bradford could move level on points with Hull KR if they can get the better of Hull KR on Friday night.

The Bulls dropped out of the play-offs having been deducted six points for entering administration earlier this season. Yet the players have not let the situation affect their game, winning four of their last six matches.

The Bulls overcame lowly Widnes last weekend while KR suffered late heartache in going down to the Leeds Rhinos on Sunday.

Bradford coach Mick Potter is hoping his players seize their chance to beat one of their rivals for a top-eight finish.

"It seems like it's going to happen every week from now on and potentially it brings out the best in everyone, although hopefully not Hull KR," said Potter.

"It's an opportunity to go for another week because we're playing the team directly above us and it either levels us or it sends them away from us.

"The game will have a massive impact this weekend. It should make for a fantastic game."

Bulls hooker Matt Diskin is in line to make his return after recovering from a dislocated shoulder sustained at the Magic Weekend in May.

He is set to replace Danny Addy while winger Jason Crookes is also hoping for a recall after being out since March with a shoulder injury.

Hull KR have prop Jordan Cox back from a four-month injury lay-off in place of Joel Clinton, who pulled a hamstring in the defeat by Leeds.

Stand-off Blake Green and centre Jake Webster remain sidelined and Craig Hall and Con Mika will undergo late fitness tests.

Robins boss Craig Sandercock does not want his players to be distracted from Bradford's off-the-field issues, urging his players to focus to getting the better of their counterparts.

"The situation has galvanised Bradford," Sandercock told the Hull and East Riding Mail. "There's no one particular danger player. They have 17 quality players.

"But we're not worrying too much about their situation. We need to concentrate on getting 17 fit players out on the pitch playing good rugby."

Bradford: Ainscough, Crookes, Lulia, Whitehead, Diskin, Burgess, Jeffries, C. Walker, Hargreaves, Olbison, L'Estrange, Pryce, Platt, Sammut, Gale, Langley, Kearney, Kopczak, Manuokafoa.

Hull K R: Hall, D. Hodgson, Dobson, J. Hodgson, Taylor, Galea, Withers, O'Hara, Murrell, Cox, Latus, Paea, Griffin, Sheriff, Peterson, Salter, Heil, Green, Horne.
