Teenage centre Ben Crooks has been handed a two-year contract extension by Hull.
The 19-year-old was under contract for another year but is now tied to the KC Stadium club until the end of 2015.
He made his debut in the Challenge Cup against Huddersfield in April and has since scored five tries in nine Super League appearances.
Crooks said: "I'm delighted to have been given an extended contract and to be given the chance to really test myself at Super League level.
"I have loved every minute of my time in the first team this season and making my debut and scoring my first senior tries have been a dream come true."
Hull coach Peter Gentle said: "He is a big part of the future at the club. Along with the other youngsters who have made their debuts this year, they haven't let anyone down."
Crooks is the son of former Hull and Great Britain forward Lee Crooks.
