Castleford hooker Ryan Hudson (picture) will not be charged with biting Sam Tomkins after the RFL decided there was insufficient evidence.
Wigan full-back Tomkins made the claim during his side's 40-16 Super League win over the Tigers at the DW Stadium last Friday.
The incident was put on report by referee George Stokes and the RFL's match-review panel requested more information from Wigan before deciding whether to bring any charges.
A spokesman said: "The RFL compliance manager has deemed that there is insufficient evidence to support an allegation of biting by Castleford Tigers hooker Ryan Hudson in a Stobart Super League Round 22 match against Wigan Warriors."
The news will come as a disappointment to Wigan coach Shaun Wane, who said earlier on Tuesday: "If one of my players did that, they wouldn't need suspending - I would not accept it.
"I am surprised he's done that. Ryan Hudson is a good professional, he must have had a brain explosion.
