Hull KR have signed Huddersfield back row forward Dale Ferguson on a month's loan to ease their early-season injury crisis.
The 24-year-old Scotland international, who was not used by the Giants on the opening round of Super League, is likely to go straight into the Rovers side to take on Wakefield on Saturday.
Hull KR began the season without prop Ryan O'Hara, centre Kris Welham and new signings Sean Gleeson and Travis Burns because of injury and suspension, while forward Rhys Lovegrove was injured in Sunday's 32-24 defeat by Catalan Dragons.
Huddersfield managing director Richard Thewlis said: "Dale Ferguson needs game time and Hull KR are suffering some injuries at the moment so the loan arrangement benefits everyone.
"It is only for a month at this stage and Dale knows he remains a Giant contractually and we look forward to watching his play."
