Richie Myler appily bends over backwards to help his celebrity action-girl fiancée Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton.
But the Warrington and England star is refusing to do the same when she tries to help him.
Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton is desperate for Myler to join her doing yoga, saying it will help his game.
Myler admits she is probably right but is prepared to put up with the earache instead by refusing for a while longer. He said: "She keeps saying, 'Do some yoga, go on do it, do it'.
"She bought me a yoga DVD for beginners.
"Helen is good at stuff like yoga and she's trying to get me into it but I'm digging my heels in."
Myler prefers a new regime designed for him by the Wolves physio and reckons it has helped him make a flying start this season.
The scrum-half, who has scored two tries in Warrington's unbeaten start, said: "I tore my abductor and had a hernia last year.
"The physio has got me doing more mobility and maintenance work. It's keeping me fresh and I feel pretty good."
Myler helped Skelton practice for her goal attempt at England's recent rugby union game at Twickenham – one of her seven Comic Relief action challenges.
He said: "Warrington let her practise on the pitch, which was fun.
"Some of the players made fun of her as she practised but she takes banter well. She's very witty."
Myler, 22, may play second fiddle in the celebrity stakes in his own house but wants to grab the glory tonight for the little men.
More protection for small half-backs has been demanded after Catalans star Julian Bousquet's horror tackle on Salford scrum-half Theo Fages last week.
But 5ft 10in, 13st Myler insists the incident – for which Bousquet copped a four-match ban – will not put him off when Wolves play Catalans at home.
"The smaller blokes always get targeted," he added.
"It's always tough against Catalans. They have won two from two so it'll be interesting."RUGBY LEAGUE: Myler flexes muscles
