Widnes' England second row forward Gareth Hock will miss his club's trip to France this weekend after being handed a one-match ban.
Hock was given the punishment after being sent off for using foul and abusive language to a match official during the Vikings' 22-22 draw with Bradford last Friday.
Hock, who is on a season-long loan from Wigan, was found guilty of the grade B offence when he appeared in front of the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel in Leeds.
He will sit out Saturday's game against Catalan Dragons in Perpignan and is facing a fortnight's lay-off because he is prevented from playing against his old club when Widnes meet Wigan a week later.
Meanwhile, Hull prop Mark O'Meley has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against leaders Huddersfield after being not guilty of punching.
The Australian forward was sin-binned by referee Steve Ganson for his part in a brawl that marred his side's 52-0 win over Castleford last Friday and was charged by the RFL's match-review panel with a grade B offence.
However, he was cleared of any wrongdoing when he appeared in front of the RFL's disciplinary committee.
Three other players involved in the brawl all submitted early-guilty pleas.
Castleford forward Weller Hauraki and winger Justin Carney will miss their first matches for the Tigers after being suspended.
Carney, who joined the club from Sydney Roosters in the winter, was handed a two-match ban while ex-Leeds second rower Hauraki accepted a one-game suspension and will sit out Sunday's game against London Broncos.
Hull second rower Danny Tickle also accepted a one-match ban for his part in the fighting.
