Joel Moon can take champions Leeds to another planet this season.
The Rhinos are already littered with star players and are the most successful team in Super League. But half-back Danny McGuire believes new signing Moon is the one player they've been missing.
The Aussie centre has already struck up a lethal partnership with England winger Ryan Hall. And McGuire is convinced the duo will frighten the life out of opponents when they really start to gel.
He said: "It is the first time we have had a properly specialist centre since Keith Senior, and it is something we needed. "We already had a really good core in the team but we needed to add some quality players as well.
"Joel is forging a really good partnership with Hally and he's bedding in nicely. "It is still early days and he's finding ways of working with the back-rowers and half-backs, but he's looking good."
Moon caught the eye at Salford last season with his deadly footwork and devastating offloads. Leeds acted quickly to sign him after struggling to find a permanent centre partner for Hall since Senior's departure two years ago.
Leeds face Huddersfield at home tomorrow, hoping to inflict a second successive defeat on the leaders. McGuire added: "They are a good team and it is going to be a big challenge. "But our aim this year is to be more consistent and to mix it with the sides at the top."
