Super League: London Broncos v Wigan Warriors

Wigan Warriors head coach Shaun Wane is weighing up his options ahead of the Super League leaders' trip to face London Broncos at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.

Shane Rodney: Returns for London Broncos

Wane must decide who will be his half-back pairing for the top-versus-bottom clash with both Blake Green (concussion and ankle) and Matty Smith (shoulder) sidelined.

Green is set to be out for a number of weeks after being helped off the field after just eight minutes in the 46-14 Tetley's Challenge Cup win at Hull KR on Sunday.

Scrum-half Smith is also likely to be absent for another two to three weeks with his injury suffered against former club Salford the previous week.

Sam Powell is set to be one of the two despite missing training on Wednesday with a sore groin, while teenager George Williams could make his Super League debut.

Wane told the club's official website: "I have got Sam Powell, George Williams, Sam Tomkins and Sean O'Loughlin I can put in there, I have quite a few options I can use. I will decide after the team run on Friday before we head down to London.

"I would prefer to bring in youngsters rather than move the team around, I want the players to be in their natural positions and I'm not into making changes. I want to leave Pat on the Wing and Sam at Full Back if I can.

"I am comfortable giving George Williams his Super League debut and I thought Sam Powell played well last week."

Meanwhile, Tony Rea has made three changes to the Broncos squad that beat Bradford Bulls 25-16 in the Challenge Cup last time.

Alex Hurst returns along with Shane Rodney and James Mendeika, with the latter having come back after being cup tied last weekend.

But Antonio Kaufusi will miss this game and the clash with the Catalan Dragons as part of a two game suspension for a Grade C reckless strike. The ban means he will lose his ever-present record this season.

London squad: Bailey, Bryant, Cook, Dixon, Dollapi, Dorn, Fisher, Gower, Grady, Howell, Hurst, Krasniqi, Lovell, Mendeika, Robertson, Rodney, Sarginson, Wheeldon, Witt

Wigan squad: Burke, Charnley, Crosby, Farrell, Flower, Goulding, Hansen, Lauaki, McIlorum, Mossop, O'Loughlin, Powell, Richards, Taylor, Thornley, L Tomkins, S Tomkins, Tuson, Williams.
