Sam Tomkins believes England have a good chance of doing something 'special' at the World Cup later this year.
Steve McNamara's troops continue their build-up for the tournament that starts in October in Cardiff with a clash against the Exiles at Warrington's Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.
England have come up short against the likes of New Zealand and Australia in recent competitions, although Tomkins is backing their current crop of stars to shine.
McNamara's has assembled a talent squad at this week's training camp in Loughborough and Tomkins insists that matches against the Exiles are a crucial to preparing to face the world's best.
"I think the Exiles are a massive part of our preparation, certainly with the World Cup not too far away we need to get as many intense sessions together as we can," he told Sky Sports.
"There are only so many times we can do that in training. It'll be the last game we play before we crack onto the World Cup.
"I think the World Cup is a massive chance for us to show what we can really do. You look at the squad that we've got here this week. We've got a good chance of doing something special."
