The London Broncos will have to cope without star man Kieran Dixon for around six weeks after he broke a finger in training.
The injury is bad news for Broncos coach Tony Rea as the 20-year-old winger has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents in Super League.
The 19-year-old Welsh international Rhodri Lloyd has joined London on a one-month loan from Wigan Warriors and he has been added to the Broncos squad for their game at Catalan Dragons this Saturday.
Rea said: "We just wanted to make sure we had enough numbers. We've had a number of injuries, so we wanted to make sure we were covered.
"We're delighted to give Rhodri an opportunity, we've heard really good things and he's played with a few of our guys previously at the Crusaders. They spoke highly of him and we're looking forward to some good footy from him.
"We've got a few back from injury this week, including Tommy Lee, Antonio Kaufusi, Shane Rodney, Michael Witt and Jamie O'Callaghan.
"Jamie Soward has had a full training week with us, so we have a lot of work to do to get our combinations right and get ourselves into the ball game.
"There are some real challenges going to France together, against a team that plays well at home. They've had some results they've not been happy with but they are back at home and conditions are going to be hot and challenging."
