Hauraki escapes punching ban
Castleford Tigers forward Weller Hauraki has been fined £300 but avoided a suspension for punching.
Hauraki was found guilty of the Grade A offence by an RFL Operational Rules Tribunal after admitting to the offence during the Super League Round 27 clash between Castleford and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Sunday.
In a statement, the Rugby Football League said the 28-year-old Kiwi had avoided a suspension after the tribunal took into consideration "the nature of the incident", which led to Hauraki and Wakefield's Ben Cockayne being sin-binned in the 31st minute of the match.
