London Broncos have signed experienced Australian outside back Jordan Atkins.
The 31-year-old centre or winger has played in the NRL for North Queensland, Parramatta and Gold Coast.
He becomes the fifth new arrival for the Broncos, who have acquired a further five players on season-long loans to fill the void created by wholesale departures at the end of last season.
"Playing abroad in the Super League is something I have always wanted to achieve," said Atkins, who has arrived in London to prepare for the club's opening Super League game at Widnes on Sunday week.
"I'm very excited about playing with such a young and talented squad of guys and, although the pre-season has been a bit unorthodox, we will all work hard together and embrace the challenges and opportunities throughout the year.
"I have no doubt I will learn a lot from all the playing group, staff and supporters. Exciting times ahead."
London coach Tony Rea said: "He's an experienced outside back, a really
accomplished player who has been highly regarded in the NRL over a long period of time."
