Catalan Dragons hooker Ian Henderson has been ruled out for up to three months with a broken forearm.
The Scotland international sustained the injury during Friday's 40-12 Super League defeat to Leeds.
He was taken to hospital in Perpignan, where he underwent surgery and the news deepens the Dragons' injury crisis.
"Injuries unfortunately are hitting us hard," said Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous, whose side are without a win after three rounds.
"We lost Daryl Millard before the game and Ian Henderson just before half-time and we have another eight players out through injury or suspension so we're doing it tough at the moment."
The Catalans will still be without forwards Olivier Elima and Julian Bousquet through suspension for the trip to Wakefield on Sunday.
Scrum-half Scott Dureau has been ruled out for four months after undergoing surgery for a ruptured bicep.
