Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook: Will now sit out the fixtures against Wakefield and Leeds
St Helens prop Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook will miss the match against Leeds on March 28 after being hit with a two-match ban by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel.
The former London Bronco pleaded guilty to the Grade C offence of making dangerous contact with ex-Saints player Leon Pryce during St Helens' home win over Catalan Dragons.
The suspension means McCarthy-Scarsbrook, who also had to pay a £300 fine, will not only sit out this Sunday's trip to Wakefield but also miss the clash with the Rhinos.
Catalan Dragons forward Jeff Lima was found guilty of making dangerous contact with St Helens forward Kyle Amor in the same fixture and was handed the same punishment.
Lima appeared via Skype in front of an RFL disciplinary hearing in Leeds on Tuesday night as he became the fourth Dragon to be banned this year.
Huddersfield will have to do without Michael Lawrence when they face the Dragons on Saturday after he was handed a one-game ban and a fined £300 for a Grade B charge of making dangerous contact.
Lawrence pleaded guilty after an incident with Bradford's James Donaldson in the third minute of the Giants' 66-18 win at the Provident Stadium, Odsal.
Team-mate Scott Grix was also fined £300 after pleading guilty to the Grade B offence of kicking out in a tackle, though he was not given a suspension.
That was not the case for Chev Walker, however, as he was banned for one match, and fined £300, after pleading guilty to the Grade B offence of striking Giants half-back Luke Robinson with his shoulder.
Hull forward Micky Paea, meanwhile, was suspended for two matches and fined £300 after being found guilty of the Grade B offence of making dangerous contact with Richard Owen of Castleford.
