Tom Lineham: Facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines
Hull winger Tom Lineham faces a lengthy spell out after suffering a broken ankle during his side's 44-16 win over Bradford on Friday.
Lineham, who made the 2013 Super League Dream Team after scoring 14 tries in 21 appearances, suffered the injury in the final minute of the match at the KC Stadium.
X-rays over the weekend revealed a fracture to his right ankle and the 21-year-old will undergo surgery this week before beginning a lengthy period of rehabilitation.
"Thanks for all the kind messages, very touching," Lineham said on his Twitter feed. "Fans, players and staff been wonderful, devastated to say broken my leg. Tough times!"
