Wakefield's Australian prop Justin Poore insists he will be with cash-strapped Wildcats next season despite their recent departures.
The Super League side have a shortfall in their budget with Kyle Amor and Tim Smith having already left to help balance the books.
Poore, one of Wakefield's marquee signings this season, signed a two-year deal last October and the former Parramatta Eels man has every intention of seeing out his contract.
The 28-year-old knows the Wildcats are going through a bad patch financially; however, he has thoroughly enjoyed his time under head coach Richard Agar.
"I will definitely be here," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "I have signed a two-year contract and I will definitely be coming back.
"We will see what happens after that. We will lose people, that's rugby league and it is going to be sad, but it was good to get a win (over Castleford) in our final game with that core group of blokes.
"What happens next year, happens. Hopefully the club can get through what we're going through at the moment.
"As long as we have the same coaching staff I will be here, because Richard Agar and Webbo (assistant-boss James Webster) have been awesome with me.
"They were the main reason I came over here. It has been everything I expected and more.
"It has been a tough season for us and I am looking forward to a bit of a break to go home and see my family, but I can't wait for next year. I am looking forward to coming back and starting again."
