Wigan head coach Shaun Wane is confident that his side can overcome defending Super League champions Leeds and reach the Grand Final.
The tie is a repeat of the inaugural Grand Final in 1998, which was won by the Warriors, although the Challenge Cup winners lost 20-6 to the Rhinos in their most recent meeting.
They did overcome league leaders Huddersfield in the play-offs to reach the last four and Wane is confident that home advantage will help his side to secure a passage through to Old Trafford on Saturday October 5.
"I think there is a lot of hard work to be done and I've every respect for the Leeds club," he told Sky Sports. "They're a great team, very well coached so we've got a great challenge ahead of us.
"I'm still confident that as a team playing our best, we can challenge.
"Home advantage is very important because the Wigan fans can get behind us and they've been great this year, but it doesn't make that much difference when you play against a team like Leeds. They're a quality team."
Meanwhile, Leeds coach Brian McDermott believes his side can reach the showpiece event for a third consecutive year, which would be an unprecedented sixth final in the past seven years.
"We're really excited to be in this position," he said. "We went to the DW Stadium a couple of weeks ago and it was a cracking game which took a few lumps out of us. It's going to be a big ask for us."
The Rhinos have major doubts over forwards Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Brett Delaney after they picked up knee and groin injuries respectively in Friday's 11-10 win over St Helens.
"They're not good, either of them," McDermott admitted. "But I don't want to write them off just yet and we will give them until the 11th hour."
