Denny Solomona seals London Broncos switch

Denny Solomona: Has left the Melbourne Stor

Melbourne Storm youngster Denny Solomona has confirmed he is leaving the NRL club in order to join Super League side London Broncos.

The Storm have released Solomona from the remainder of his contract with immediate effect, meaning he will have a month training with the Broncos ahead of the new season.

The 20-year-old winger, a product of the Storm's youth system, graduated to the first-grade squad for the last year following some impressive performances with the club's Under-20s.

In 2013, Auckland-born Solomona played 16 games with the Thunderbolts, scoring 13 tries while averaging over 90 meters per match.

"Sad to leave but time for a new chapter in life and will be looking forward to joining London Broncos thanks to everyone for the support!" he tweeted from his official account.

Solomona is the first player to join the newly re-homed Broncos following the announcement they would be playing at Barnet's Hive Stadium for the next two years.
