Jamie Langley: Took plenty from the Tenerife training camp
New signing Jamie Langley believes Hull KR benefited greatly from their warm weather training camp in Tenerife before Christmas.
The former Bradford Bulls pack ace earned praise from his new coach for his contribution in the Canary Islands and admits he's looking forward to the start of the new campaign.
"The one thing I took away from the camp was the togetherness in the squad," Langley told the Hull Daily Mail.
"We were living out of each other's pockets and we got to know each other a lot better. We spoke about making commitments to the team and sacrifices. If everybody buys into that, there shouldn't be any issues.
"We have a good set of lads here with a lot of competitiveness. That's good when you have that in training because it bodes well when we get out on the pitch for games."
