London Broncos have continued their recruitment for the new season with the signing of Brisbane Broncos forward Nick Slyney.
The 25-year-old prop or back rower, who is 6ft 2ins and 15st 2lb, made his NRL debut for North Queensland Cowboys in 2008 and has been with the Broncos for the last two seasons.
London coach Tony Rea said: "We've been talking with Nick for the last four months. He has shown outstanding character and will prove to be a strong part of the capital's pack."
Slyney, whose grandfather was born in London, said: "The opportunity to live and play overseas is one my girlfriend and I are extremely eager to take up as a new chapter of my footy career."
Slyney is the third overseas recruit for the new-look Broncos, who have confirmed that Australians David Howell, Shane Rodney and Michael Robertson are part of the club's clear-out, having not been offered new contracts.
