Albert Kelly is in a fitness race to make the Challenge Cup final
Hull KR head coach Chris Chester has included Albert Kelly in his 19-man squad for Saturday's Ladbrokes Challenge Cup final against Leeds Rhinos at Wembley.
Australian scrum-half Kelly has not played since tearing knee ligaments in the 26-18 semi-final win over Warrington a month ago and was rated "touch and go" by Chester earlier in the week.
However, he will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness as the Robins look to lift the trophy for only the second time in the club's history.
Teenager Matty Marsh was suggested as a possible replacement for Kelly by Chester but he has not been named in the squad.
Both Kieran Dixon and Ben Cockayne have been included and Chester will decide between the duo for the full-back role against the holders and firm favourites.
Tyrone McCarthy will captain the side at Wembley and he takes his place in the squad alongside several other players who were rested for Sunday's Super 8s clash against Widnes Vikings.
The skipper is one of three players in the Hull KR squad to have previously played in a Challenge Cup final alongside Graeme Horne and Shaun Lunt, who confirmed he had signed a new four-year contract with the club at Thursday morning's Wembley departure event.
