Four Kingstone Press League 1 clubs were knocked out of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup by amateur opposition in third-round matches on Saturday.
Newcastle Thunder were thrashed 30-4 at Halifax club Siddal, Hemel Stags went down 12-6 at Cumbrian outfit Kells, London Skolars were beaten 13-0 at Pilkington Recs, of St Helens, and South Wales Scorpions lost 37-20 at Featherstone Lions.
The Lions, who are coached by former Featherstone and Wakefield stand-off Jamie Rooney - who also had a spell with South Wales in 2012 - are through to the fourth round for the second successive year.
Reece Dyas scored a hat-trick of tries for the Lions, a National Conference League Division One side who are the lowest ranked outfit left in this year's competition.
Elsewhere, French club Toulouse marked their return to the English game with a 32-14 win over Wath Brow Hornets in Cumbria - former Sydney Roosters half-back Mark Kheirallah scored four of their six tries - and Rochdale gained a 40-14 win over local amateur club Rochdale Mayfield.
