Salford Red Devils head coach Ian Watson will be without winger Junior Sa'u for the home match against St Helens.
Greg Johnson replaces him in their 19-man squad, which is otherwise unchanged from their defeat by Hull FC.
Leigh Centurions have issued a hands-off warning to Salford Red Devils and other Super League clubs keen on signing star half-back Ryan Brierley.
The 23-year-old half-back, who scored 37 tries in 33 appearances for Leigh in 2015, had an agreement enabling him to leave the Championship club if head coach Paul Rowley ever left.
The clause emerged after Rowley resigned last Thursday, but Leigh owner Derek Beaumont insists the player is happy to pursue his dream of playing in the Super League for Leigh and says he is not for sale.
Saints are without James Roby and Dominique Peyroux who picked up injuries in the opener against Huddersfield.
Keiron Cunningham has added Morgan Knowles and Calvin Wellington to the 19 man squad.
This gives the option of keeping Jordan Turner at six, using Knowles and Theo Fages in tandem at nine and handing Welshman Wellington his senior debut in the centre.
Alternatively, Fages could move to six, with Turner going back to the centres with Knowles going to nine, spelled by another forward.
Skipper Jon Wilkin operated there in the second half on Friday after Roby's injury.
