Catalan recorded their third straight win
Todd Carney and Morgan Escare scored two tries apiece as Catalans Dragons beat Castleford Tigers 41-22 to record their third straight win.
The French outfit ran in seven tries over the 80 minutes, with the visitors adding four of their own in an entertaining encounter in Perpignan, the result of which sees the Dragons move to fourth in the Super League table.
Jodie Broughton, Louis Anderson and Paul Aiton also crossed for Catalans while Greg Minikin and Joel Monaghan both touched down twice for Castleford in a losing cause
Broughton and Anderson went over either side of a Minikin try in the opening 20 minutes with Thomas Bosch adding the extras on each occasion.
Carney grabbed his first try on 24 minutes to put the hosts 18-4 ahead but Castleford fought back through Minikin's second score of the game before Monaghan dotted down, Luke Gale's conversion narrowing the margin to just two points.
With the points continuing to flow, Escare got into the action with his first try on the stroke of half-time although Bosch's kick from the touchline slid past the posts.
Even at 22-16, the Tigers remained right in game. However, the Dragons soon pulled away as Escare and Carney went over again after the interval before Aiton made absolutely sure of the win with 15 minutes remaining.
Monaghan scored a consolation try for the Tigers before Escare rounded things off with a drop-goal three minutes from time.
