Castleford will attempt to snap a six-game losing streak in Perpignan when they face Catalans Dragons on Easter Monday
The Tigers' last victory at the Stade Gilbert Brutus came in March 2010 and a number of key players have not travelled to France due to injury.
Stand-off Ben Roberts and prop Lee Jewitt failed fitness tests on the eve of the Tigers' departure for Perpignan and former Catalans forward Gadwin Springer has joined their lengthy casualty list with a groin injury sustained in the win over Leeds.
Youngsters Tom Holmes and Conor Fitzsimmons have been called up, with the latter hoping to make his debut.
"I never complain about Easter," said Tigers coach Daryl Powell. "I've played in these games myself and recognise that it's a tough time.
"When you've got injuries, it's a little bit harder, but you just get on with it, there's no point worrying. It's a tough game, but they played the day after us so there is a little bit of an advantage there.
"They are a fair old size and going over there is always difficult, but we'll go and play with a bit of freedom about us and give it a good crack."
The Dragons also have injury problems, having lost second-rower Justin Horo to a hamstring injury in their win at Salford.
They are still without suspended centre Krisnan Inu, which could pave the way for out-of-favour full-back Morgan Escare to make his first appearance of the season.
