Warrington v Widnes preview
Warrington have lost hooker Brad Dwyer with an ankle injury which requires surgery but veteran second rower Ben Westwood is back from a month's absence with a similar injury.
League leaders Widnes will be without captain Kevin Brown, back rower Hep Cahill and centre Charly Runciman after they pulled up in training with minor injuries.
Patrick Ah Van makes a return and Tom Gilmore will partner Joe Mellor at half-back while Sam Brookes and Ed Chamberlain appear in Denis Betts' 19-man squad for the first time this season.
Widnes Coach Denis Betts says "Kurt Gidley has been a fantastic acquisition and just gives them so much stability with the quality player he is.
"It's a pretty strong, formidable side and that's the challenge for us and that is what excites this group.
"Our confidence is high at the moment and we fear nobody."
Warrington coach Tony Smith says "They've been playing well and confidently. They look sharp and energetic, as well as effective.
"I thought their second half at Wigan they out-worked them and credit to them as they looked sharp.
"They deserved to win the game overall and they're really having a crack this year."
