Hull KR v Widnes preview
Widnes are without their influential captain Kevin Brown for tomorrow's trip to the Lightstream Stadium.
The 31-year-old has been struggling with an ankle injury for a few weeks and had been hopeful of making the long trip across the M62 to face the Robins, but those wishes were dashed after being left out of Denis Betts' 19-man squad.
More news: Hull KR name Ken Sio in squad to face Widnes Vikings
Prop-forward Ted Chapelhow, brother of fellow Widnes forward Jay, is named in Brown's place.
It's an otherwise similar squad to that of when Widnes travelled to Halifax last time out in the Challenge Cup as the Vikings just held on to progress by winning 28-18 against the gutsy 'Fax.
Hull KR Interim head coach James Webster has named his 19-man squad to face Widnes Vikings at the KC Lightstream Stadium on Sunday.
Full back Ben Cockayne is named in the squad after missing his side’s previous match against Salford Red Devils a fortnight ago, as is Ken Sio who left the field midway through the second half with a dislocated shoulder.
Both players are in contention to face the Vikings this weekend, although centre Iain Thornley and back rower Chris Clarkson will miss out through injury and are expected to return for the Magic Weekend clash against Hull FC.
However, James Greenwood is fit to take his place in the 19 after missing the last two matches with a quad injury.
Hull KR squad: Allgood, Blair, Boudebza, Cockayne, Donaldson, Green, Greenwood, Horne, Kelly, Lawler, Lunt, Marsh, Minns, Moran, Mulhern, Sio, Tilse, Walker, Wardill
Widnes squad: Cahill, Chamberlain, J Chapelhow, T Chapelhow, Dean, Dudson, Hanbury, Heremaia, Houston, Johnstone, Leuluai, Manuokafoa, Mellor, O'Carroll, Runciman, Sa, Thompson, White, Whitley
