Warrington v Leeds preview
Chris Sandow is back for Warrington ahead of Friday's Super League clash with Leeds at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Rhys Evans and Ryan Atkins are also back after missing last weekend's Magic Weekend loss to Castleford, while Sandow and Brad Dwyer return after long spells out through injury.
The Wolves have a chance to go back to the top of the table following back-to-back defeats and will be boosted by the return of scrum-half Sandow, who was Super League's player of the month for both February and March before tearing a hamstring.
"It would be nice if he picked up where he left off," said Warrington coach Tony Smith. "He's got a bit of X factor and adds another dimension to our attack."
Leeds also have some returning players - Rob Burrow and Brett Delaney return after missing the 40-8 defeat by Wigan on Magic Weekend. Liam Sutcliffe is available after serving a suspension and Australian forward Mitch Garbutt is also in the mix.
Last year's treble winners are two points adrift at the bottom of Super League, but England international Kallum Watkins is hoping a visit to high-flying Warrington can kick-start their season after admitting his form for the Rhinos this year has been "pretty poor".
The 25-year-old centre, who is the Rhinos' only ever-present in their dreadful season so far, was in the running for the Man of Steel award in 2015 after playing a key role in his club's treble-winning feat.
Watkins admits he has been a shadow of his old self in 2016 but he showed glimpses of getting back to his best during Leeds' 40-8 defeat by Wigan at the Magic Weekend.
"I've been pretty poor this year to be honest," he said. "I've had limited opportunities and maybe been trying too hard at times.
"I do set high standards. There is always someone to knock you down but that's how it is, that's sport, it's the people who respond to it better. I felt last week was better for me and that will give me a bit more confidence going into
this week."
Watkins has happy memories of his last appearance at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, where he scored the match-winning try in the Rhinos' 24-14 Challenge Cup semi-final win over St Helens, and is hoping a return visit can halt their four-match losing run.
"We're a bit low on confidence but it's down to us as a group to put that right," he said. "We just need to come up with an 80-minute performance to give us a good boost.
"Warrington will be hurting from the weekend as well so it will be an interesting game. It's always tough to go there and get a good result."
