Warrington will be looking to return to winning ways in the Stobart Super League when they host a Castleford side without talisman Rangi Chase.
The Wolves went down 44-16 to Catalan Dragons in their least league outing, a result that meant they slipped to fifth in the table. However they did bounce back last weekend with a comfortable away triumph at Keighley in the Carnegie Challenge Cup, though head coach Tony Smith opted to rest many of his starters for the game at Cougar Park.
Ryan Atkins, Brett Hodgson and Adrian Morley all come back into the 19-man squad, while hooker Brad Dwyer and half-back Gareth O'Brien keep their places due to the continued absences of Michael Monaghan and Richie Myler. Castleford, meanwhile, are without Chase for the tricky trip to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The England international is beginning a three-match suspension after a challenge on Tangi Ropati that left the left Featherstone winger with a broken jaw.
The cup defeat to near-neighbours Rovers had already come at a cost for coach Ian Millward, as full-back Richard Owen limped out of the action with a groin injury.
Academy winger Josh Atkinson and centre or back rower James Grehan have been drafted into the 19-man party.
Yet despite the absence of Chase, Warrington boss Smith is expecting a tough test against a Tigers side that had been showing signs of improvement in recent weeks.
"Castleford will be looking to bounce back after the weekend making this even more of a tough game for us on Sunday," he told the club's website.
"They were in pretty good form in the weeks leading up to last weekend putting out a fairly young team against Saints and doing well.
"They are certainly a team that are growing and trying to establish themselves as regular mid-table competitors looking to force into the eight."
