Fit-again centre Chev Walker is keen to win back his place in coach Mick Potter's Bradford Bulls team.
The ex-Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos man missed Bradford's last eight games after sustaining a nerve problem in his arm against Salford.
Walker has featured in Bulls' last two Under-20 games and he is now targeting a first-team return.
The 29-year-old respects Potter's decision to leave him out of late, stating he will not be seeking showdown talks with the Australian.
"I've been fit for the past few weeks but just not been selected more than anything," he told the Telegraph and Argus.
"I'm one of those players who respects the coach's call and I'm all for the squad rather than myself.
"If that's what fits for the squad then so be it. I'm working hard to get my chance and when I do I'll be looking to grab it with both hands.
"I'm not going to spit my dummy out and say that I should be in. I'm just keeping my head down and working hard for my chance."
