London Broncos will get the chance to move off the foot of the Stobart Super League table when they host fellow strugglers Widnes on Saturday.
The Vikings caused a major shock when they defeated Huddersfield last Sunday, with their first win in eight matches seeing them leapfrog their next opponents in the standings.
The Broncos sunk to the basement with a 24-6 reverse at the hands of Wakefield, meaning they have now lost their last seven league outings.
To make matters even worse for the capital club, Michael Witt was forced off during the clash with the Wildcats due to a shoulder injury.
The Australian half-back is not fit to be included in London's 19-man squad while Chris Melling is also unavailable due a neck problem. Liam Colbon and Matt Cook remain on the sidelines.
There is some good news for coach Rob Powell with the return of Julien Rinaldi and Karl Temata, plus Will Lovell has been included after the centre impressed in the Magic Weekend defeat to Catalan Dragons.
"It has become a huge game because of where both sides find themselves in the table," Powell said.
"We will have to approach the game with the right mentality, have a strong start and people play to their potential, for us to win the game."
Widnes, meanwhile, are without utility man Joe Mellor after he was suspended for one match for a dangerous throw on Huddersfield's Scott Grix.
Stefan Marsh is also missing from the 19-man squad, though Vikings boss Denis Betts is able to recall fit-again skipper Jon Clarke.
The visitors go in search of their first Super League double of the season - they won the reverse fixture 38-30 at the Stobart Stadium back in March - and know another positive result would increase their chances of avoiding the wooden spoon on their first year back in the top tier.
