Warrington v Leeds preview

Warrington head coach Tony Smith has named an unchanged 19-man squad for the visit of the reigning Super League champions.

t will be the Wolves' first home game in a month after four consecutive away fixtures, including the Magic Weekend in Manchester.

The game will also see the Wolves players step out onto the field wearing their charity shirts in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Smith's men will be looking to get their title chase back on track after the 23-22 defeat to Hull KR last week.

Leeds will be without stand-off Danny McGuire after he picked up a groin injury in last week's 50-6 defeat to Wigan.

Stevie Ward, 19, has been drafted as cover while coach Brian McDermott has also opted to call up Ben Jones-Bishop and Darrell Griffin.
Prop Richard Moore sits this one out with Ian Kirke added to the 19.

"It was tough last week against a white-hot Wigan side and we did not help ourselves at times," said coach Brian McDermott.

"However, we have looked at that game early in the week and our focus has been on Warrington since then. We have a determined group of people who have been through some tough times together in the past.

"I have no doubt they will stick together, but Warrington present us with an immediate challenge to get ourselves back up to the level of performance we know we are capable of.

"We are without Danny so that is an enforced change, however we will make a couple of others as well.

"Stevie Ward will be involved. He played a couple of games earlier in the season and the time is right to give him another opportunity as he is an exciting player from our academy."

Rhinos are looking for an unlikely double after coming out on top 26-18 at Headingley earlier this year.

Warrington squad: Atkins, Blythe, C. Bridge, Briers, Carvell, Cooper, Grix, Harrison, Higham, Hill, Hodgson, McCarthy, J. Monaghan, Morley, O'Brien, Ratchford, Riley, Waterhouse, Westwood.

Leeds squad: Webb, Jones-Bishop, Hardaker, Hall, Burrow, Leuluai, Peacock, Jones-Buchanan, Ablett, Sinfield, L. Smith, Delaney, Bailey, Kirke, Clarkson, Hauraki, Griffin, Ward, Lunt.
