
Castleford full-back Richard Owen is facing up to a two match ban for fighting during his side's 40-22 defeat by Leeds on Sunday.
Owen was charged by the Rugby Football League for punching Carl Ablett in the 63rd minute of the Super League clash at Headingley.
The 21-year-old was sin-binned for the incident by referee Tim Roby and on Monday the RFL's match-review panel announced they would be taking action against the player
Owen has until 11.00am on Tuesday to submit an early-guilty plea and accept a one-match ban face an RFL disciplinary committee hearing which could double the suspension.
Castleford travel to Widnes next Monday for their clash with the Vikings before playing host to Huddersfield six days later
