Catalan v London Broncos Match Preview

The Catalan Dragons will be keen to return to winning ways against the London Broncos on home soil on Saturday.

The Dragons huffed and puffed against St Helens last Friday, but slipped to a 20-15 loss to Mike Rush's men.

The Perpignan club failed to score a point in the second half with the result dropping them down to fourth in the table.

Catalan have already beaten the Broncos twice this season after following up a 36-18 win at the Stoop with a 42-18 Magic Weekend success in May.

London, who have now gone four matches without success, were thumped 44-6 by league leaders Wigan last weekend.

Dragons coach Trent Robinson is without a number of first-team regulars for the visit of the Super League strugglers.

Jamal Fakir, Steve Menzies, Julian Bousquet and Ian Henderson have been ruled out of this game after picking up injuries against the Saints.

Clint Greenshields, Setaimata Sa, Louis Anderson, Frederic Vaccari, Thomas Bosc, Mickael Simon and William Barthau are also absent.

David Ferriol returns following a two-game ban while Robinson recalls Jean-Philippe Baile, Cyrille Gossard, Ben Fisher and Kevin Larroyer, the latter making his first appearance in the 19-man squad.

Broncos interim head coach Tony Rea has made three changes to his 19-man squad for Saturday's clash.

Michael Channing and Omari Caro are included in the squad at the expense of Michael Witt and Dan Sarginson; the latter having sustained an ankle injury against Wigan which is expected to keep him out of action for around six weeks.

Ben Bolger makes way in the nineteen for the Jason Golden, who returns after missing out on the last three games with a knee injury.

Rea commented: "The action plan is simple one. You get what you deserve in life, so if you want success you have to go and earn it.

"The players have trained well this week and they are expecting a performance against Catalans this Saturday."

Catalan Dragons: Blanch, Pryce, Stacul, Dureau, Ferriol, Casty, Mounis, Raguin, Baile, Pelissier, Gossard, Millard, Paea, Baitieri, Duport, Fisher, Cardace, Pala, Larroyer.

London Broncos: Bailey, Bryant, Channing, Caro, Clubb, Dixon, Dorn, Golden, Gower, Howell, Kaufusi, Krasniqi, Lovell, Melling, O'Callaghan, Randall, Rinaldi, Robertson, Wheeldon.
