Huddersfield Giants will be looking to get their Super League season back on track against the Wakefield Wildcats at the Galpharm Stadium.
The Giants have been in freefall since the end of April, losing seven of their last eight in league action.
Nathan Brown departed as coach in the wake of last weekend's Challenge Cup exit to Warrington with Paul Anderson taking over first-team affairs.
Wakefield are 11th in the standings with six wins from their 20 league outings to date following a comprehensive 52-10 defeat to Wigan Warriors last time out.
Anderson is in charge for the first time as permanent coach for the visit of Wakefield and he has allowed the players to choose who captains the team on Sunday.
Kevin Brown will no longer captain the side and the playmaker, who is joining Widnes from 2013, is unlikely to play for the Giants again.
"Whatever happens, it won't be Kev anymore," Anderson said of the club captaincy. "Although there's still a lot to play for this season, I'm also looking at things for next year and those plans obviously don't involve him.
"Anybody doesn't want buy into our ethos then someone else will come in and take their place. It then isn't down to me to decide when that player returns to the team, it's down to the guy who has taken his shirt."
Huddersfield are poised to give a debut to new signing Brett Ferres in place of Brown, who has an ankle injury, while second rower Jason Chan and winger Luke George both return after sitting out the cup defeat by the Wolves.
Wakefield give hooker Andy Ellis his first outing for two months in place of Paul Aiton, who loses his ever-present record after sustaining a broken jaw in a mugging, while centre Dean Collis and second rower Frankie Mariano return from injury.
