London Broncos v Wigan Preview

The London Broncos will be hoping new management brings about a change in fortune on the pitch against the league leading Wigan Warriors.

Tony Rea last coached the Broncos - then called Harlequins - in 2006, leading the team into the play-offs in 2003 and 2005.

The Australian has taken over from coach Rob Powell for the remainder of the season with the capital club rooted to the foot of the table.

Wigan, who were eliminated from the Challenge Cup semi-final by Leeds last Saturday, remain top three points clear of the Warrington Wolves after dispatching Wakefield in their last league match.

The Broncos are still without prop Karl Temata (hamstring) while second row Jason Golden is out with a knee injury.

Shane Rodney is unavailable for selection with a neck injury while ex-Wigan man Liam Colbon is recovering from a shoulder reconstruction and Matt Cook is out with ligament damage.

Rea has started working with the players and believes things are already coming together: "I've seen the players for the first time and we've had a good day of training.

"The communication between the players was great and towards the end of the session things really started to click. The boys looked strong as a team and they are looking ready for the game on Saturday against Wigan."

Warriors coach Shaun Wane welcomes back Iain Thornley and scrum-half Matty Smith for the trip to the Twickenham Stoop.

The duo were ineligible for their 39-28 defeat to Leeds at Huddersfield's Galpharm Stadium.

Second-rowers Jack Hughes and Rhodri Lloyd drop out of the 19-man squad to accommodate the pair.

Wigan remain without prop Paul Prescott after he aggravated an ankle in training and requires at least two more weeks on the sidelines.

Wane wants a response from his side following their semi-final exit, saying: "I'm expecting real change in attitude at London next week."

London Broncos: Bailey, Bolger, Bryant, Clubb, Dixon, Dorn, Gower, Howell, Kaufusi, Krasniqi, Lovell, Melling, O'Callaghan, Randall, Rinaldi, Robertson, Sarginson, Wheeldon, Witt.

Wigan: S Tomkins, Charnley, Goulding, Carmont, Finch, McIlorum, Mossop, Hansen, Hock, O'Loughlin, Lima, Farrell, Tuson, Lauaki, Gelling, Flower, Crosby, Thornley, Smith.
