Mess about and you'll be spat out of Super League. That's the stark warning to Bradford's young guns from coach Francis Cummins.
The Bulls have some of the hottest youngsters in the gameand several are pushing for England honours.
However, Cummins fears they could waste their chance of stardom unless they change their ways.
He said: "We've got some young players who I really believe can push themselves into the World Cup squad this year.
"But they are going to have to make sacrifices, work harder and be smarter than they ever have before.
"The majority of players take things for granted but this sport is so fragile. It only takes a player to go easy and suddenly they are lost to the game. It moves on so quickly."
Several clubs were keen to sign England Knights duo Elliott Whitehead, 23, and 19-year-old John Bateman when Bradford faced going bust last year.
The Bulls did well to hang on to them, as well as highly-rated forwards James Donaldson and Tom Olbison.
But Cummins says they must all learn that they've not made it yet, just because they have done well so far.
He said: "These players can go anywhere they want but they are going to have to change if they want to achieve it.
"I don't think some of them have taken the next step up seriously in the past.
"I've talked to them about the sacrifices that are needed and some players have said that things have maybe come too easily or too soon for them.
"I wasn't the best player but I had a career. My worry is some players will not have a career unless they do things differently."
Cummins has urged his young stars to learn from new team-mate Jamie Foster. The 22-year-old winger played in two Grand Finals with St Helens and was tipped for great things until last season.
Foster was dropped during Saints' poor start and never got back in, eventually going on loan to Hull before signing for Bradford.
Cummins said: "Jamie is a great example. Everything was flying for him and he probably took it all for granted. The next thing he's playing for the Under-20s and he almost got spat out the other end.
"That experience definitely shook him and he's come back with a great attitude to make sure he never faces that again.
"He's still young but I've asked him to pass on his experiences to the others. If they're willing to learn, I'll support them."
