Catalan Dragons' Australian scrum-half Scott Dureau has been given the all-clear to resume playing after having a tumour removed from behind his eye.
The 26-year-old former Newcastle Knights half-back missed the start of Super League after undergoing surgery in Australia but the French club said that the latest scans showed he has made a complete recovery.
The influential Dureau, who has made the Super League Dream Team in each of his first two seasons with the Dragons, will catch a flight to Perpignan next week and resume training with his team-mates immediately.
"Scott will be back with us and it's a good news for him and the team," said Catalan coach Laurent Frayssinous. "He will come back to training very quickly.
"The aim of the process is for Scott to play again but the exact date of his return to the competition is yet to be determined."
