Bradford Bulls starlet John Bateman looks set to make his first appearance of the season on Sunday after proving his fitness.
Bateman needed a shoulder reconstruction operation over the winter but he has suffered no reaction to playing in last Friday's Academy clash with Widnes.
Bateman, who scored a hat-trick in the match, should give head coach Francis Cummins a much-needed option against Hull KR, with the Bulls waiting on fitness reports on a number of players.
"I'm ready to play for the first team in Super League now," Bateman told the Bradford Telegraph.
"I felt fit on Friday and have done for a few weeks to be honest. It was great to get out there and play some rugby again. I'm definitely ready to go for Sunday now.
"I enjoyed getting the ball in my hands and was delighted to score three tries but I was equally pleased with the teamwork we showed.
"We played really well and I think the Under-19s can really kick on now."
