Jacob Miller could make his Super League debut for Hull FC as they travel to face Castleford
The talented half-back looks set to feature at the Wish Communications Stadium after joining his new team-mates earlier in the week following his signing from NRL side Wests Tigers.
The 20-year-old comes highly rated and will be welcome relief to Peter Gentle's squad as they look to bounce back from defeat against Catalan Dragons without captain Gareth Ellis.
Ellis hobbled from the field in the latter stages of England's victory over the Exiles on Friday having picked up a back injury and Gentle has opted not to risk either the back row or fellow international Tom Briscoe with the season climax fast approaching.
"I'm in a position where I don't have to play them if they're not 100 per cent. We've got a 10-day turnaround after Castleford and whoever misses this game will definitely be right for the following week against Wakefield."
Prop Mark O'Meley returns following a hamstring strain as fellow front rower Josh Bowden is left out of Gentle's 19-man squad.
Meanwhile Tigers' new signing Ben Davies could also make his bow in front of the cameras following his release from Widnes Vikings last week.
The inclusion of 23-year-old Davies means young prop Dan Fleming, who has featured in Castleford's previous three outings, is excluded.
Head coach Daryl Powell is looking to power in the forward line as the Tigers look to find form after suffering a 42-24 defeat to Leeds Rhinos in a West Yorkshire derby two weeks ago.
"Davies brings aggression, go-forward and he's got a good skill set - all those things are much needed in the pack," he said.
"Young Dan Fleming has been in and has done a really good job, but there are times when you need to bring a young lad out of it and he'll learn from the experience."
Davies is the lone change to Powell's match-day squad as the Tigers look to avenge a run of five consecutive defeats at the hands of the Black and Whites.
