Wiggles back US rugby league
The Wiggles create YouTube sensation with song celebrating USA's exploits at Rugby League World Cup
The legendary Australian childrens' band were so inspired by the Tomohawks' stunning surge into the quarter finals of the World Cup, they penned a song to celebrate.
Recorded on Monday, the song has become an instant YouTube hit.
Wiggles founder Tony Field, a diehard Wests Tigers fan, is friends with David Niu - a key driving force behind rugby league in the USA.
After posting the video, Field was invited to attend the quarter final against Australia as a special guest of the Tomahawks.
The song, titled USA Tomahawks Shock The World, joins a Wiggles catalogue that also includes smash hits Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wake up Jeff! and Big Red Car - Toot, toot.
