Castleford forwards Andy Lynch and Nathan Massey will make their first appearances of the season against Wakefield on Sunday.
The duo missed the draw at Hull KR but are included in Daryl Powell's 19-man squad, with Lynch having agreed a contract extension with the Tigers earlier this week.
"Andy is massive as a player because he leads by example and whenever he speaks people listen," said head coach Powell.
"He's been unbelievable as a professional and as a player in his time since he has returned to Castleford Tigers.
"I'm delighted he has agreed to extend his stay with us further and look forward to working with him as he helps to drive the standards even higher at the club."
Jake Webster is expected to start at centre in place of skipper Michael Shenton, who will miss the rest of the season with an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury.
Luke Gale will take over the Castleford captaincy while Ryan Hampshire could make his debut.
"We just need to be the best that we can be which is all we've been talking about this week," said Powell.
"I thought we were okay in the yardage game last week and our defence has improved significantly but the attacking game was off so we need to tidy that up.
"Obviously the conditions weren't great last week, then we lost Shenny, which rattled us a little bit, but we've got to be better than that."
Meanwhile, former Castleford centre Ashley Gibson is set to make his Wakefield debut against his old team-mates.
Gibson has been included in Brian Smith's squad as they look to respond to their opening round defeat at home to Widnes.
"We are looking for a big improvement from last weekend," said Smith. "We are still working on a few things but I believe that we can give Castleford a bit of a run out there on the field."
